Airlines cancel 85 flights at O’Hare amid wet snow

More than 85 flights have been canceled at O’Hare International Airport as a sloppy mixture of snow and rain falls in the Chicago area.

The Chicago Department of Aviation said Sunday that 85 flights were canceled as of 7:30 a. m., though the rest of the flight operations were normal.

Midway International Airport was operating normally with no cancelations.

The National Weather Service says the Chicago area is expected to get about an inch of snow or less by late Sunday afternoon.
