The following items were taken from Palatine police reports:
Bottles of alcohol valued $152.66 were taken from a grocery store at 423 East Dundee Road on Jan. 9 by two people who left carrying two bottles each without paying.
An unlocked Schwinn bicycle valued at $800 was taken from a parking garage in the 900 block of East Wilmette Road on Jan. 4.
A burglar got into a vending machine at a hotel at 1550 E. Dundee Road on Jan. 12 and took an undetermined amount of money.
An air compressor valued at $400 and other power tools were taken from a Chevrolet van on Jan. 7 or Jan. 8 in the 1400 block of North Winslowe Drive.
