Saturday is National Readathon Day, a fundraiser for the National Book Foundation’s literacy programs. Similar to a walkathon, the Readathon is a pledge-based fundraiser that will run from noon-4 p.m.

The following Chicago-area libraries will participate. Programs are free and open to the public.
