Finding her voice
It’s not the first time she’s spoken out about her childhood stutter, but “Into The Woods” star Emily Blunt told NPR this week that she might have her childhood impediment to thank for her entire career. Blunt says a teacher suggested that she try out for a school play, and that it might be easier to speak if she were pretending to be someone else. “I think I get a little bit overwhelmed if I think about the odds of this not working out,” she said. “I’m someone who never thought I would end up in a career where I had to speak fluently. And here I am.”

Forget the “True Grit” braids—Hailee Steinfeld is officially an adult. The star celebrated her 18th birthday Friday night with friends like Sarah Hyland, Odeya Rush, Austin Mahone and members of Fifth Harmony, eonline.com reports. Apparently much dancing was done. “WELL THAT WAS FUN and I’ve also never had balloons spell out my name before,” Steinfeld later tweeted. It’s amazing the things they can do with balloons these days.

Apparently Mark Wahlberg knows something Michael Bay doesn’t. Wait, that statement is probably far too broad. Anyway, Wahlberg told MTV that he’s on board for a fifth “Transformers” flick. “Yeah, I committed to doing a couple more. You know I can’t speak for Mr. Bay, but something tells me we’ll be on the set soon,” he said. Is that something the sweet, sweet sound of dollar bills slapping together? Wethinks yes.
