The following items were collected from reports released by the Oak Park Police Department.

A man 30 to 40 years old approached a Cicero woman at Austin Boulevard and Harvard Street at 5:10 p.m. Dec. 4 as she was talking on her cell phone and waiting for a ride. He hit her and made a threat and she gave him her cell phone valued at $555. The man fled east across Austin into Chicago on Arthington Street. He was 6 feet tall, weighed 200 pounds and wore a black skull cap, black puffy coat and blue jeans.

Two Chicago boys, ages 17 and 14, were arrested at 7:37 p.m. Dec. 4 on the 100 block of South Euclid Avenue for robbery after they stole an Oak Park woman’s purse, following a brief struggle, on the 200 block of South Oak Park Avenue. They were referred to juvenile court and turned over to their parents.

A 29-year-old Chicago woman was arrested on a Cook County sheriff’s police warrant for driving under the influence and a Berwyn warrant for criminal damage to property after her car was stopped for a traffic violation at North and Mayfield avenues at 2:28 a.m. Dec. 5.

A 31-year-old Chicago man was charged with domestic battery after he punched an Oak Park resident in the face on the 900 block of North Humphrey Avenue at 9:33 a.m. Dec. 4.

A 20-year-old Chicago resident was charged with domestic battery of another Chicago resident that happened on the 0-100 block of Erie Court near West Suburban Hospital at 1:41 a.m. Dec. 3.

A 35-year-old Berwyn man was charged with driving on a revoked license after his car was stopped for a traffic violation on the 1200 block of Woodbine Avenue at 4:25 p.m. Dec. 2. He also was wanted on a Cook County sheriff’s police warrant for violating probation on a charge of driving while his license was revoked.

A 48-year-old Oak Park man was charged with domestic battery of another Oak Park resident at his home on the 0-100 block of Madison Street at 1:38 p.m. Dec. 2.

A 23-year-old Chicago woman was charged with aggravated assault of an Oak Park resident that happened on the 300 block of South Humphrey Avenue at 10:43 a.m. Dec. 2.

A 30-year-old Oak Park man was arrested on the 6900 block of Roosevelt Road at 3:03 a.m. Dec. 1 after police found he was wanted on a Cook County sheriff’s police warrant for domestic battery.

A 63-year-old Oak Park man was charged with driving without a valid license and no proof of insurance after his car was stopped on the 0-100 block of Washington Boulevard at 8:47 p.m. Dec. 1.

A Toro snow blower valued at $600 was stolen between 4 p.m. Dec. 2 and 11 a.m. Dec. 3 out of a garage on the 800 block of Woodbine Avenue where the lock on the side door was pried.

Nothing was reported missing after someone forced open the basement door of a home on the 700 block of Hayes Avenue between 7:15 a.m. Dec. 2 and 7:15 a.m. Dec. 3. Damage was $25.

A package containing soap, candles, and other items, with a combined value of $72.77, was stolen between 1:46 and 4:39 p.m. Dec. 1 from in front of the outside door of a building on the 1100 block of South Austin Boulevard. The package and packing slip were found in the dumpster at the back.

A package containing a box of Walgreens Acuvue Advance contact lenses valued at $200 was stolen between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Nov. 26 off the porch of a home on the 600 block of North Elmwood Avenue.

A catalytic converter valued at $870 was cut between 12:01 and 10 a.m. Nov. 30 off a vehicle parked on the 1000 block of Washington Boulevard.

A window was broken between Dec. 2 and 4 on the back door of a home on the 1200 block of Woodbine Avenue. Damage was $50.

The rear door was pried open of a home on the 1100 block of Holley Court at 1:04 a.m. Dec. 4. Damage was $100.
