The following items were collected from reports released by the La Grange Police Department.
A 24-year-old Northlake woman was arrested for allegedly possessing cannabis with the intent to deliver it after a traffic stop at the intersection of Ogden and Dubois avenues Dec. 3. According to police, the woman was pulled over for failing to yield for a left turn, and was discovered to have marijuana in the car. Police also ticketed her for failing to provide proof of insurance.
A woman reported that her purse was stolen from her home in the 400 block of Kensington Avenue Dec. 3. According to police, the purse was found in La Grange Park. The woman’s husband said he believed he heard someone in the house, but there were no signs of forced entry.
Two people in a building in the 100 block of south LaGrange Road reported items stolen from the building’s common area. A man reported his bicycle was stolen Dec. 3. The same day, a woman reported that someone had stolen a package that was delivered to her and opened and tampered with a second package.
A woman in the 800 block of south Catherine Avenue reported that vandals twice moved around decorations in her yard. On Dec. 1, someone tipped over a planter and moved garden statues across the yard, and three days later, someone knocked over a potted tree, according to reports.
A woman described as white, heavyset, with short brown hair and wearing a black coat reportedly stole a $70 shirt from Cleo Boutique in the 10 block of South LaGrange Road about 3:13 p.m. Dec. 7.
