A 20-year-old Stone Park man was charged with possession of cannabis after an officer stopped his car at 1 a.m. Nov. 30 near North and Thatcher avenues for a traffic violation, smelled burnt marijuana coming from the car and found 12 small plastic bags containing 11.5 grams of marijuana.
A Toro snow blower valued at more than $300 was reported Nov. 30 as having been stolen within the last six months out of a garage on the 900 block of Clinton Place.
A 43-year-old Stickney resident was charged with driving under the influence and other unidentified traffic violations after being stopped on the 1300 block of North Harlem Avenue at 3:59 a.m. Nov. 30 for committing traffic offenses. The driver appeared drunk, failed field sobriety tests and had a blood-alcohol content of .123, more than the .08 legal limit.
A 40-year-old Chicago man was charged with felony retail theft for stealing $257 worth of liquor from the Jewel food store, 7525 Lake St., at 7:21 p.m. Nov. 28. The charge was upgraded to a felony because of his theft conviction in 2013.

A 34-year-old Chicago man was charged with driving under the influence and other unidentified traffic violations after an officer saw his car commit traffic offenses near North and Harlem avenues at 2:20 a.m. Nov. 27. He appeared drunk, failed field sobriety tests and his blood-alcohol content was .145, more than the .08 legal limit.
A 26-year-old Forest Park man was charged with driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after an officer saw his car with driver’s side fresh body damage parked in the road on the 500 block of Lathrop Avenue at 3:54 a.m. Nov. 26. He appeared drunk, failed field sobriety tests but refused to take a Breathalyzer test.
