baiduhai Media Group’s Naperville Sun reports: A Naperville mayoral candidate who faced a Monday municipal review panel challenging his residency is dropping from the race, according to a press release and information on his online and social media accounts.
Three people challenged radio host Matt Dubiel’s candidacy, saying he did not live in Naperville. Attempts to reach Dubiel Friday evening were unsuccessful.
Dubiel’s apparent withdrawal means there will be no February primary in Naperville and leaves four candidates for mayor on the April ballot.
