Two men charged in a June shooting that wounded an Aurora woman have pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and other charges.

Arturo Trejo, 20, and Ajaie Martin, 32, both of Aurora, are accused in the shooting that took place during the early morning hours of June 14 in the 200 block of North Fourth Street in Aurora. A 43-year-old woman inside her home was hit by a bullet in the neck, according to authorities.

Police have said Trejo and Martin were seen fleeing from the area after the shooting. Two others were charged during the execution of a search warrant at a home where Trejo and Martin were tracked to by police dogs.

Trejo returns to court next month, while Martin has a January court date scheduled.
