An early morning crash on Naperville’s far southwest side Tuesday detoured drivers and passengers in the five vehicles involved, including a minivan that rolled over from the impact. However, authorities said no one was seriously injured in the collision on 111th Street about a quarter mile west of 248th Avenue.
“All refusals,” said Naperville Fire Department Lt. Jeff Tadder, alluding to the vehicle occupants declining to be transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries.
Details had yet to be pieced together involving the cause of the crash, which occurred about 6:15 a.m. near Cedar Drive. Emergency vehicles and plastic cones were used to close off the street temporarily during the response.
