Legendary Chicago rock group The Smashing Pumpkins have announced a surprise Black Wednesday show scheduled to take place at Pilsen’s Thalia Hall venue.
Having recruited former Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee into the fold, the band will release “Monuments to an Elegy” on December 9th. Lee will not be playing this show, however. Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave) will be on drums, joining Mark Stoermer (The Killers), Jeff Schroeder and Billy Corgan.
Tickets are $51 and will go on sale at noon Monday at this link.
