Wonderful WinterFest

Support local businesses while taking part in the holiday festivities with Roscoe Village WinterFest. Carolers will spread the cheer while more than 30 local shops will offer sales, wine tastings, trunk shows, kids’ activities and more. Visitors can enjoy a visit with Santa, a horse-drawn sleigh for a ride around the neighborhood, cookie decorating and singalong. 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 7. Breakfast with Santa

Santa Claus will be visiting Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort for its “Breakfast with Santa” event. Take a family photo with Santa and enjoy the 150-acre holiday backdrop, complete with hayrides and hot chocolate. 9 a.m. to noon Sundays, Dec. 7-21. Adults, $29.95; children 5-12, $14.95; free for kids 4 and younger. Admission includes full brunch.
