Every year in October Nothing Bundt Cakes, a national chain of specialty bundt cakes, rolls out their Turkey Day Cake, with handcrafted decorations. Best of all, customers get to pick their favorite flavored bundt cake as a base.
“It is just like an edible centerpiece,” says the south Naperville franchise owner Neepa Mehta of the Turkey Day Cake.
She says it also makes for a great hostess gift instead of the traditional pie.
Mehta opened Nothing Bundt Cake with her husband, A.J., at 2860 Showplace Drive in August 2013.
“The decorations are handcrafted, from spinning the bows to gluing on the eyes of the turkey,” she says.
And, of course, each bundt cake is adorned with the famously thick frosting.
The Turkey Day Cake comes in two sizes: 8 inch, serving 10, and 10 inch, serving 20, and is priced at $29.50 or $39.50.
The cake sits on a brown paper board and comes wrapped in plastic wrap, keeping it safe and fresh, even after serving as the dinner centerpiece.
“And once dinner is over, dessert is right there,” Mehta concludes.
Nothing Bundt Cake promises very moist cakes, not just for the Turkey Day Cake.
“It’s like mom made it,” Mehta says. “We only use fresh eggs, real butter and real cream cheese, and the cakes are baked daily. They are real flavorful.”
Although same-day pickups are welcome, Mehta suggests pre-ordering to assure that customer preferences are available. Call 630-857-3030 to place an order or visit www.nothingbundtcakes.com to view some of the other special occasion cakes offered at Nothing Bundt Cakes.
