The Bears’ 2014 season sure seems like it’s history, so that’s what this week’s Bears Brain Teaser focuses on.

The Bears defense has given up 50-plus points in back-to-back games, something that hasn’t happened in 91 years. They joined one other, now-folded, NFL team in that cringeworthy record.

Who was that team, and who dealt them their worst loss of that season with a score of 60-0?

(Hint: The answer might make you feel a LITTLE better about Chicago’s football team.)

Answer: The Bears joined the Rochester (N.Y.) Jeffersons, who in 1923 had two games in which they lost by 50-plus points. According to Pro Football Reference, their 60-0 loss came at the hands of the Chicago Cardinals.

Thanks to all who entered, and look for a new challenge next week!
