The following items were collected from reports released by the Oak Park Police Department.
A man in his 30s armed with a semiautomatic handgun robbed the U.S. Bank, 104 N. Oak Park Ave., of an unknown amount of cash at 3:01 p.m. Nov. 6. According to police, the man showed the gun to the teller and demanded cash while he put a black plastic bag on the counter. He left out a west-side door. He was described as 6 feet tall, about 240 pounds, and was wearing a black knit cap, black sunglasses, a white and black mask, and black hood.
A 16-year-old Elmwood Park boy was charged with disorderly conduct after he told a student that he would to come to Oak Park and River Forest High School at dismissal time Oct. 31 with a pellet gun. He was found at 2:52 p.m. on the 100 block of North Elmwood Avenue with a black Pulse DP4 6mm BB gun in a gray-and-black book bag.
A man 30 to 35 years old stole $183.77 worth of artificial nails from the Walgreens store at Roosevelt Road and Ridgeland Avenue at 12:12 p.m. Nov. 3.
Four men left their white, four-door car in the 200 block of Harvard Street at 8:18 p.m. Nov. 6, approached a 17-year-old Oak Park boy and one grabbed his arm and demanded money. The boy said he did not have any money and the four fled into their car when another vehicle drove by. Two men were in their 20s.
Two 18-year-old Oak Park men and five Oak Park boys were charged with mob action that happened on the 100 block of South Boulevard at 8:35 p.m. Oct. 31. One boy also was charged with criminal damage to property.
An Oak Park boy was charged with burglary of a home on the 400 block of South Grove Avenue that happened at 6:40 p.m. Nov. 5.
A 25-year-old Chicago man was charged with soliciting in the roadway while panhandling on the Austin Boulevard ramp at the Eisenhower Expressway at 9:41 a.m. Nov. 5.
A 26-year-old Schaumburg man was charged with driving under the influence after being in an accident on the 0-100 block of North Harlem Avenue at 12:34 a.m. Nov. 7.
A 57-year-old Chicago man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia when stopped on the 6400 block of North Avenue at 8:20 p.m. Nov. 6.
An 18-year-old Oak Park girl was charged with possession of cannabis when arrested at 10:05 a.m. Nov. 6 in Oak Park and River Forest High School, 201 N. Scoville Ave.
A 17-year-old Oak Park boy was arrested on the 100 block of North Lombard Avenue at 1:57 p.m. Nov. 4 for burglary to a motor vehicle.
A 33-year-old Maywood man was arrested on the 100 block of Madison Street at 7:46 p.m. Nov. 4 on a Maywood warrant for criminal trespass to real property.
A 24-year-old Chicago man turned himself in Nov. 2 for leaving the scene of an accident at 5:20 a.m. Sept. 24 at Austin and Washington boulevards. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and no valid insurance.
A 21-year-old Chicago resident was charged with disorderly conduct, unlawful use of a weapon and obstructing identification for an incident on the 700 block of South Boulevard at 2:26 p.m. Nov. 2. The resident was wanted on a Cook County sheriff’s police warrant for escape.
A woman was charged with domestic battery that happened on the 1000 block of Chicago Avenue at 3:23 a.m. Nov. 2.
A 48-year-old Oak Park man was arrested at 2:20 a.m. Nov. 1 at Madison Street and Home Avenue on an Oak Park warrant for driving while his license is suspended.

A 16-year-old Chicago boy was charged with battery after he shot a paintball at the right knee of a 9-year-old Chicago resident on the 100 block of Greenfield Street at 7 p.m. Oct. 31.
Someone broke a window and door to enter the basement of a home on the 800 block of South Humphrey Avenue between 2 and 10:55 p.m. Nov. 5. Damage was $100.

Costume jewelry valued at $520 was stolen between 4:43 and 7:29 p.m. Nov. 1 out of a home on the 800 block of Lyman Avenue where the ground-level window facing the back yard was broken.
Two Apple Pod charging cables and a black vinyl case containing 200 compact discs — with a combined value of $240 — were stolen between 11 p.m. Oct, 29 and 7 a.m. Oct. 30 out of an unlocked car parked on the 100 block of Washington Boulevard.
A blue 2004 Ford van stolen Oct. 22 on the 200 block of Harrison Street was found at 8 a.m. Nov. 6 by Secretary of State police on the 4600 block of Lake Street.
A white canvas bag with its contents valued at $90 was stolen between 2 and 4 p.m. Nov. 1 out of an unlocked car parked on the 900 block of North Taylor Avenue.
A Kenwood Exelon global positioning system navigation stereo and a clear plastic bag containing cash — with a combined value of $1,285 — were stolen between 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2 and 7:15 a.m. Nov. 3 out of a car parked on the 0-100 block of Lemoyne Parkway where the driver’s side window was pried for entry.
An extension ladder valued at $100 was stolen between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Oct. 29 from the side of a home on the 800 block of South Scoville Avenue.
A spare tire valued at $600 was stolen between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Nov. 1 from a Toyota Rav4 parked in a carport on the 1100 block of Wesley Avenue.
A Nintendo 3DS system containing a video game was stolen between 3:30 and 4:15 p.m. Nov. 5 out of a locked bag on a bench on the 1000 block of South Lombard Avenue. The loss was $214.
A man 20 to 25 years old grabbed an unattended white-and-blue Android cell phone valued at $300 from the counter at the Lake and Austin Food Mart at 12:35 p.m. Nov. 1 and ran down the 100 block of North Humphrey Avenue and into an east alley,
A man 27 to 33 years old entered a home on the 1100 block of South Harvey Avenue through an unlocked front door at 12:13 p.m. Nov. 6 while a resident was sitting in the kitchen. The resident heard the floor creak and saw the man in her kitchen. He said hello and ran off when the resident said she would call police.
A landscaping brick was used to break the outer pane of the glass on a double-pane side door of a home on the 1000 block of Forest Avenue between 6 a.m. and 5:58 p.m. Nov. 5. Damage was $800.
The doors or windows of two buildings and windows of four vehicles were broken on Halloween night. Pellets were shot through the main entrance door of Oak Park and River Forest High School, 201 N. Scoville Ave., and pellets were shot through two living room windows of a home on the 700 block of North Hayes Avenue. Rear windshields were broken to a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 400 block of North Oak Park Avenue, on the 200 block of North Oak Park Avenue and on the 1000 block of North East Avenue; and the front passenger door and vent window were broken on a vehicle parked on the 500 block of South Ridgeland Avenue. Also all four tires were punctured to a car parked behind a home on the 1100 block of Fair Oaks Avenue.
A rock was thrown between Oct. 31 and Nov. 2 through a first-floor front window of a home on the 300 block of Clinton Avenue. Damage was $100.
The driver’s side window was broken between Oct. 31 and Nov. 3 on a van parked behind the 6500 block of North Avenue. Damage was $150.
