The biggest winner on election night might not have been a politician.

A Mega Millions ticket sold in New York won the lottery’s 8th largest jackpot of $321 million Tuesday night.

The winning numbers were 9, 15, 24, 39 and 41, with a Mega Ball of 1. The jackpot had been growing since Aug. 22, when a $180 million prize was claimed in California.

If the winner were to select a cash payout, it would be worth around $190 million.

The estimated $321 million jackpot was the biggest since a $414 million prize was shared between winners in Florida and Maryland on March 18, according to the lottery.

The record U.S. lottery prize of $656 million was a Mega Millions jackpot awarded in March 2012. That prize was split among winners in Kansas, Illinois and Maryland. In December 2013, ticket-holders struck the second largest Mega Millions jackpot of $648 million.

The game is offered in Illinois and 42 other states, plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
