As for “1989”, the record is set to make history as it is expected to have the largest sales week for any album since Eminem sold 1.322 million copies of “The Eminem Show” in its debut week in 2002. It also should set the record for the biggest-ever album sales week by a female artist, beating Britney Spears’ “Oops! … I Did It Again,” which sold 1.319 million copies in its first week.
If you’re a member of Swift’s fan club, the Chicago pre-sale starts Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. central time. Everyone else will have to wait until November 14th at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
Also: This show occurs the same weekend as the 2015 Pitchfork Music Festival, so you can safely assume she won’t be headlining it.
