Emergency crews recovered the body of a man who jumped off a boat on Fox Lake, officials said.
Lake County sheriff’s officers and crews from several neighboring fire departments were called to Fox Lake Hills about 4:45 p.m. Sunday after a man on a pontoon boat saw another man jump off a small boat and not resurface, according to Antioch Fire Department spokesman Chris Lienhardt.
The pontoon boater took crews to the area where the man disappeared, Lienhardt said. The body was recovered around 9:25 p.m., officials said.
The name of the man was not immediately released.
