Jenna Ushkowitz (“Glee”) had to share the spotlight with a famous French bulldog when she appeared Saturday at Paradise 4 Paws in Schiller Park.

The event was billed as Manny and Friends Halloween Costume Paw-ty and included an appearance by Manny the Frenchie. Who is Manny the Frenchie? I don’t know, but he has over 500,000 likes on Facebook and his Twitter profile says he’s the “World’s most followed Bulldog on the internet.” Ushkowitz apparently is a frenchie fan. She owns a frenchie named Bear, who she brought with her to the appearance.

After Paradies 4 Paws, Ushkowitz visited Sunda and the Underground. According to Ushkowitz’s Instagram page, she also took in the Blackhawks-Nashville Predators game that night at the United Center, where she was sitting “front and center.”

Speaking of the Blackhawks, Twisted Sister rocker Dee Snider took part in “Shoot the Puck” Wednesday at the ‘Hawks game. Dee Snider’s Rock & Roll Christmas Tale opens Nov. 4 at the Broadway Playhouse.

Sean “Diddy” Combs was in town last week for Chicago Ideas Week, where he took part in the “Lessons: Turning Points” panel Tuesday at Cadillac Palace Theatre. Afterward, Diddy dined at Chicago Cut Steakhouse. Skrillex was spotted at Ramen-San and Three Dots and a Dash before performing an impromptu DJ set Sunday at The Underground.

Daisy Fuentes (“La Voz Kids”) dined Thursday at The Pump Room in the Public Chicago hotel. Kathleen Turner (“The War of the Roses”) dined Tuesday at The Florentine.

Charlie Barnett (“Chicago Fire”) and “Chicago PD” actors Jesse Lee Soffer, Marina Squerciati and Brian Geraghty checked out the David Bowie Is exhibit Oct. 11 at the Museum of Contemporary Art. LaRoyce Hawkins attended the Lift a Spirit fundraiser Thursday at Joe’s Bar, which benefitted Saint Joseph Hospital’s Laboure Outpatient Clinic and Family Birthplace.
