Grant Achatz named honorary president of Bocuse d’Or jury

The Bocuse d’Or, considered by some as the Olympic Games of cooking competitions, has named Alinea chef Grant Achatz as honorary president of the Bocuse jury. The competition takes place every other year and will be held Jan. 27-28, 2015, in Lyon, France.

Achatz’s association with Bocuse d’Or, named after legendary French chef Paul Bocuse, dates back several years. Achatz recently served as a coach for Team USA, and he devoted a 4-month menu at Next restaurant to the competition.
