As we reported earlier, the restaurant group behind Fatso’s Last Stand and The Lockdown will be taking over the space at 3324 N. California Ave.
We now have a name: Frank Meats Patty, and it’s on track for a December opening. They’ll serve a bevy of burgers, char dogs, po’boy sandwiches, and in a nod to Hot Doug’s, will offer a different game burger patty each month.
Hot Doug’s closed on Oct. 3 after a spectacular farewell tour that saw 12 hour-plus wait times in its final weeks.
