Don’t be surprised if you soon spot Naomi Campbell in Chicago. The model and actress has booked a recurring role in Fox’s “Empire,” which films in the city.

Campbell will play Camilla, “an alluring woman involved in a steamy affair” with a younger man who happens to be the son of Lucious Lyon, played by series star Terrence Howard.

So, Campbell’s playing a cougar&mdashwho is dating a Lyon. Camilla has a great influence over Hakeen (Bryshere Gray), who stands to inherit his father’s Empire Entertainment corporation. The “king of hip-hop,” Lucious is a music, fashion and entertainment mogul. When his health begins to fail, Hakeem and his brothers, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and Andre (Trai Byers), battle for control of their dad’s corporation.

Taraji P. Henson plays Cookie, Lucious’s ex and the mother of his sons who shows up on the scene after being released from prison seven years earlier than expected and throws a wrench into Lucious’s plans.

Lee Daniels and Danny Strong created the series and serve as executive producers with Brian Grazer, Ilene Chaiken and Francie Calfo. Timbaland created all the show’s music.

The show will premiere in early 2015 on Fox.
