Regardless of whatever he has done in his various leagues, Matthew Berry has to be the biggest winner in fantasy sports history.
Berry became a fantasy guru at ESPN with 661,000 followers on Twitter. His popularity led to him writing a best-selling book, “A Fantasy Life.” Now there’s even more.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kevin Connolly (“E” in “Entourage”) is slated to star in a series pilot for Fox based on Berry. Reporter writes Connolly would play Mitch, “a regular guy who lands his ultimate dream job working in the fantasy sports department at a major sports network.”
The new series would follow the lead of FX’s popular, “The League,” a comedy based somewhat on fantasy football.
Surely, a major movie based on Berry is coming soon.
