Good job, good effort.

Actor Cuba Gooding Jr.—also known as the brother to Nickelodeon’s “Wild and Crazy Kids” co-host Omar Gooding—was at last night’s Blackhawks pre-season scrimmage against the Detroit Red Wings. Aside from taking the time to shill for his new Fox show “Empire” premiering spring 2015 (You’re welcome for the mention, Cuba.), he also took part in the traditional “Shoot the Puck” sideshow, which recently changed format, between periods.

To celebrate his successful third shot into the left slot on goal, Gooding Jr. shed both his jacket and unbuttoned his shirt.
