Will Ferrell has gone through, oh, a few characters since playing Mugatu in 2001’s “Zoolander,” but apparently he’s ready to put on the trendmaker’s fiercely fuzzy look once more.

“We are actually supposed to do a read-through of a sequel script soon, and Mugatu is a part of it,” he told joblo.com of the long-awaited sequel to the Ben Stiller fashion flick.

In other words, we’re getting there.

Thirteen years ago, Mugatu was, as Maury Ballstein (Jerry Stiller) put it, “so hot right now he could take a crap, wrap it in tinfoil, put a couple fish hooks on it and sell it to Queen Elizabeth as earrings.”
