This weekend, a stretch of Lincoln Park right near the zoo takes on a whole new look: Between 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, families can navigate Play Together, a free obstacle course that combines team-building stations with mental and physical games to promote creative problem solving.
The pop-up course, currently on a six-city tour, is a collaborative project between Disney Parks and KaBOOM, a non-profit organization dedicated to building better playgrounds. To honor the collaboration, families who plan to attend the first run of the day at 10 a.m. are encouraged to dress like their favorite Disney characters. After completing the run, families can enjoy an imagination play zone filled with more family activities and games.
