Two men were wounded in separate shootings reported at 7:05 p.m. Friday, a police spokesman said.

A 23-year-old man was shot in the foot on the 9100 block of South Yates Blvd. in Calumet Heights, officer Veejay Zala said. The man was reportedly sitting on a resident’s porch when an occupant of a black SUV began shooting. The victim was in stable condition at Advocate Trinity Hospital.

A 28-year-old man was also wounded after a shooting reported in the Roseland area. Zala said the victim reported he was standing on a corner in the 0-100 block of East 101st St., when he felt pain and realized he’d been shot in the buttocks. The victim was also reportedly in stable condition at Trinity Hospital.
