, the first ever envelope-opening live streamed award show, is bumping up the amount of honors its doling out this year, the telecast announced on Wednesday.

The award ceremony was created to acknowledge the growth and original programming of content on
and other online video services.
“The Streamy Awards are about relevance, excellence and diversity,” Streamys Exec Producer Drew Baldwin said. “Our new categories reflect the current state of the industry and embrace the incredible enthusiasm and engagement of the online community.”
Other change-ups for the award ceremony involve letting auds select one nominee in each category. The awards show is also encouraging creators to launch social media campaigns to increase fan engagement.
Submissions for the fourth annual award ceremony are now open until July 27. The Streamy Awards, which pulled in more than seven million live and VOD views last year, will be live streamed again this fall from L.A.
