“The Judge” scribe Nick Schenk has been set to pen the remake to the 2012 Dutch thriller “Taped” for Sony Pictures.

“Divergent” producers Lucy Fisher and Douglas Wick will produce the pic.

The film is a remake of the 2012 pic that follows a young American couple vacationing in Buenos Aires who inadvertently tape a murder and finds themselves in a fight for their own lives.

Schenk’s next pic “The Judge” stars Robert Downey Jr. and bows on Oct. 10. He is repped by CAA and Madhouse and attorney Stephen Clark.
