Tribute for Trotter: A star-studded group of chefs will cook at the Charlie Trotter Tribute Dinner at Chicago Gourmet this fall, reports Phil Vettel. Among chefs and sommeliers taking part: Rick Bayless, Graham Elliot, Matthias Merges, Thomas Lents, Masaharu Morimoto and Alpana Singh. Tickets for the Sept. 27 event are $500, with proceeds going towards Charlie Trotter’s Culinary Education Foundation.
