“Veep” actor Matt Walsh has joined Kevin Bacon and Radha Mitchell in the indie thriller “6 Miranda Drive” from Blumhouse Prods.

Horror specialist Jason Blum — who launched the “Paranormal,” “Insidious” and “Sinister” franchises — is producing with Matt Kaplan of Chapter One and Bianca Martino of Emu Creek Pictures. Robyn Marshall from Chapter One will co-produce.
Universal will distribute the film worldwide as part of its first look deal with Blumhouse.
Greg McLean (“Wolf Creek”) is directing from his own script about two families on a summer camping trip in the Grand Canyon.
Walsh is starring as a renegade storm chaser in Warner Bros.-New Line’s “Into the Storm” and recently made his second directorial feature “A Better You,” which he co-wrote with Brian Huskey, about a hypnotist who can cure everybody except himself.
