Story, presented through videocameras and cellphones, follows numerous inhabitants of a small town in Oklahoma and a storm chaser and his crew when a tornado super cell touches down on their community. Cast includes Arlen Escarpeta, Jeremy Sumpter, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Max Deacon.
The film opens Aug. 8. The release comes 18 years after Warner Bros. scored a major hit with “Twister.”
