Tiger Woods reportedly plans to play in Orlando’s Arnold Palmer Invitational despite a back injury.
Woods has been battling an ailing back and pulled out of the final round of the Honda Classic and later struggled during the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral. As a result, it was unclear whether he would be able to compete in the PGA event played March 20-23 at Orlando’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge.
“Tiger is continuing to get treatment and get himself in a good place for next week,” Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg, reportedly wrote in an email to ESPN.com. “He intends to be at Bay Hill.”
Woods has dominated the event, winning Arnold Palmer Invitational eight times.
