De la Garza will star opposite Ioan Gruffudd, who plays medical examiner Henry Morgan. She will play Jo Martinez, a recently widowed homicide detective in New York City who’s intrigued by the insights of Morgan.
Judd Hirsch will also appear in the pilot. Brad Anderson directs, and Matthew Miller penned the script.
