It appears as though sci-fi fans and tech enthusiasts alike are jonesing to get their hands, and eyeballs, on a Glyph — a headset due to be released this year that promises to beam movies and video directly into your eyeballs.

CNN tech reporter Doug Gross notes that “the Glyph headset, from Ann Arbor, Michigan-based Avegant, will create visuals that don’t need a screen — just your retinas and your brain.”
