After a 3-1/2-month hiatus, dolphin presentations at Brookfield Zoo will resume Saturday, the zoo announced Thursday.
The regular shows were canceled beginning in mid-October so staff could care for two dolphin calves born at the zoo, one of which is being hand-reared by Brookfield specialists.
The new animals will remain off-exhibit, along with Tapeko, the mother of the calf that isn’t being hand-reared. But the shows in the Seven Seas dolphin stadium will return with Brookfield’s five other adult dolphins.
