Google’s top tech searches of 2013

Google released its annual Zeitgeist list Tuesday, offering a glimpse into the most popular topics among the millions of search queries Google receives daily. Some of the most widely searched terms of 2013 were Paul Walker, Nelson Mandela and the Boston Marathon. Zeroing in on the tech side, cartoon-maker Bitstrips, love it or hate it, was the most popular mobile app, and smartphones dominated tech gadget searches.
