Back at the first crime scene, investigators collected evidence and dropped it into paper bags until early Friday morning.
When they were finished, Stanford said, police let him see his brother.
He shook the officer’s hand afterward, and the officer complimented him for keeping his emotions in check.
“God’s got him, he’s in good hands,” Stanford said. “It’s my brother, I love him to death, but I can’t do nothing about it. He gone.”
