Miami-based Regent Seven Seas Cruises announced recently it’s entered a definitive contract with the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy to build a 738-guest cruise ship.

The all-suite, all-balcony vessel will be called Seven Seas Explorer, and is expected to be delivered in summer 2016 at a cost of about $450 million.

The hefty contract price makes it the most-expensive luxury ship ever built, according to Regent.

The Seven Seas Explorer will be the largest ship in Regent’s fleet, which currently stands at three ships: Seven Seas Navigator, Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager

.

“This new ship order is part of our disciplined growth strategy to expand our footprint in the luxury market,” said Regent’s President Kunal S. Kamlani, in a news release.
