Steve Cochran has returned to WGN-AM 720 Radio and will continue to fill-in on a freelance basis for the near future, the station confirmed Tuesday.
Cochran was let go from Tribune Co.’s WGN three years ago after a decade at the station. The Tribune reported at the time that management had eyed him as a replacement for their retiring morning drive host but was unable to reach a deal on a new contract.
Cochran was most recently an afternoon host at WIND-AM 560. He left there last week.
