Courtney Upshaw holds the Vince Lombardi Trophy in the locker room after the Super Bowl. Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Ravens rookie outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw won his second consecutive championship in football games played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
After winning the BCS national title a year ago at Alabama with a win over LSU, the second-round draft pick is an NFL champion after contributing a forced fumble against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Ravens defeated the 49ers, 34-31, Sunday night in Super Bowl XLVII.
Is Upshaw a good-luck charm?
“I’ve been told that, man,” Upshaw said. “Honestly, I’m part of the Baltimore Ravens now. I put those championships behind me. Now, it’s time to win another Super Bowl. I want another Super Bowl because it feels great.”
