Gavin Floyd threw a second extended bullpen session Sunday morning and could come off the disabled list to pitch as soon as Wednesday against the Tigers.

While the White Sox haven’t announced any changes yet, it appears that Floyd’s session Sunday makes him a go. He hasn’t pitched since the end of August because of a strained elbow flexor.

“He felt good. It’s not pain right now,” pitching coach Don Cooper said. “He threw well and now we’re going to discuss where and when we feel it’s best to insert him.”
“Everything felt good,” said Floyd, who threw curveballs for the first time since his injury.
