Now this might be the end, for now, of the Charlie Weis Reunion Tour.

Former Notre Dame tight end Mike Ragone will finish his career with Weis and Kansas after being granted a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA, the Jayhawks announced Tuesday.

The move had been expected for some time, and now Ragone joins fellow former Irish players Dayne Crist and Anthony McDonald — all of whom were recruited to Notre Dame by Weis — in Lawrence, Kan., for the 2012 season.

Injuries dogged Ragone throughout his entire Irish career, with knee issues costing him the 2008 season and all but three games of the 2011 season. Ragone played in 37 games during his five seasons at Notre Dame, recording 11 catches for 109 yards.
