player ready...The South Bend-to-Lawrence pipeline continues.
New Kansas coach Charlie Weis will add yet another Notre Dame transfer to his roster this fall, with linebacker Anthony McDonald set to graduate in May and then finish his collegiate eligibility with the Jayhawks.
McDonald was a high school teammate of former Irish quarterback Dayne Crist at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif., and now will join the signal-caller in Lawrence after Crist transferred last winter.
McDonald played 28 games during four injury-plagued seasons in South Bend, collecting 24 total tackles but playing in just four games in the 2011 season.
In addition, former Notre Dame tight end Mike Ragone reportedly will join Kansas as well after recently earning a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA.
