In response to the recent deaths of two Lake Forest High School students who were struck by Metra trains, Principal Jay Hoffmann sent parents an email Wednesday afternoon outlining the school’s next steps.
Hoffmann wrote that the school is assembling a new team to help the school cope with the losses. The group will consist of parents, police and members of local teen organizations, along with administrators and teachers from the high school, Lake Forest Elementary District 67 and Lake Bluff Elementary District 65.
“We will be exploring local and national resources to best support our student, faculty and parent community now and in the future,” Hoffmann said.
