Power was shut off for about 14 minutes on the southbound Blue Line this morning after someone fell on the tracks from the Division station platform, the CTA said.
The person did not make contact with the electrified third rail or was hit by a train, said CTA spokeswoman Kim Myles.
The power was shut off about 6:02 a.m. and restored about 6:16 a.m. after the person was removed from the tracks.

Northbound service was not affected.
The person who fell was taken to an area hospital for observation, Myles said.
