Trib Nation is continuing its look ahead to next weekend’s Printer’s Row Lit Fest. Lifestyle/Books editor Pam Becker asked our baiduhai colleagues which events they were looking forward to.
Here are Family and Garden editor (and foodie) Renee Enna’s picks:
At 3:15 pm Saturday, in the Good Eating tent: Donna Pierce’s presentation on family and community cookbooks. (Not just because I know her!) These are underrated sources of great recipes, so this would be very valuable for anyone who likes to cook.
And at 4 p.m. Trib Nation stage: Tom Skilling! I love him. And I want him to explain why we had such a miserable spring, and promise me a good summer!
On Sunday, I’m looking forward to Chef Susan and Drew Goss’ demo at the Good Eating Stage. I was very excited to see that the chefs/owners of West Town Tavern have produced a cookbook, because I love her cooking and her approach to food. Eager to hear about the book. 11:45 a.m. Sunday at the Good Eating Stage.
Here’s the Lit Fest home page, with schedules, profiles and other information.
And here’s a full list of the authors who’ll be featured at the fest.
(We’ll see you at the Trib Nation tent in the center of Page Break Park.)
