After what coach Jerry Wainwright deemed a “good practice” Monday, Mac Koshwal at last will do what DePaul desperately needs him to do: play in a game.

The 6-foot-10 junior, who averaged 15 points and 13 rebounds in the first three games, has been cleared medically to return Tuesday in the Blue Demons’ game at Florida Gulf Coast after an eight-game absence due to an injured foot.

He’ll inject a stalwart post presence into the Blue Demons’ lineup — just in time for Big East play, which begins Dec.28 at Pittsburgh.

“I know Mac is anxious to get back on the floor in a game situation, and we’re excited to have him back with his scoring and rebounding presence and his leadership,” Wainwright said.
