The Lions were without their two best players — quarterback Matthew Stafford and receiver Calvin Johnson — when the Packers beat them 26-0 in Week 6. That might be the case again, as Stafford is nursing a sprained left shoulder and Johnson is battling hand and knee injuries. Even if they can play they won’t be at full strength. Packers cornerback Al Harris is done for the season with a knee injury and capable backup Tramon Williams is moving into his spot, meaning mistake-prone Jarrett Bush becomes the third corner — and a liability opposing quarterbacks will try to exploit.

The Cowboys have to be concerned about their offense, which in the past two weeks against the Packers and Redskins scored six and seven points. The Raiders, meanwhile, are coming off a stunning, morale-boosting victory over heavily the favored Bengals, highlighted by the crisp final drive of new starting quarterback Bruce Gradkowski. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, never has lost a Thanksgiving game. But he suffered a back injury early in the Redskins game and it seemed to affect his accuracy. Dallas coach Wade Phillips says Romo is on the mend.
