People magazine caught up with its reigning Sexiest Man Alive as the magazine prepares to pass the crown (or is it a sash?) to a new leading man this month.

“I thought there were thousands of other guys that deserved (the title),” Jackman said, “but it’s been a great year. But now the pressure’s off. I can be a slob again.”
